Tradesperson

At this time this full-time vacancy is intended for 2 shift work within the Mould Shop. In the future deployment might vary according to business needs.

In the role, the main tasks include:

• Service moulds.
• Prepare moulds for production.
• Prepare moulds for Sub-Contractor.
• Check and register incoming moulds from Germany.
• Prepare moulds from export Germany.
• Prepare electrodes from export to Germany.
• Check and register incoming moulds from Sub-Contractors.
• Change Babyplast and Boy heater.
• Service Babyplast and Boy heater.
• Retrieve and return electrodes from store.
• Update mould data and electrode data base as required in AMS4u.
• Fabricate and assemble blades for Koch blister cutter.

The chosen candidates need to have an MQF level 1 certification and be able to communicate well both in spoken and written English. The ideal candidates will also have:

• Further educational achievements preferably including English and Mathematics at MQF level 3.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Experience in Pad Printing Process.
• The ability to work in a team and lead others. Those able to demonstrate this through past achievements in or out of the workplace will be preferred.
• Organisation ability, showing an eye for detail and a disposition towards good housekeeping on the shop floor.

Training will be given to the selected candidates.
